Is UV ink environmentally friendly and toxic?
Compared with traditional printing pigments (solid, liquid, powder), the environmental protection type of UV ink has been greatly improved, especially when it is printed on the surface of the material for 12 hours, there is almost no odor, and it can directly contact the skin. But it still contains a small amount of toxicity, after all, the ink contains chemicals. It should be understood that the cheaper the low-quality UV inks, the greater the toxicity. Compared with imported high-end UV inks, the toxicity damage can reach 10 times or more.
The harm of UV ink is mainly manifested in two aspects:
Corrosiveness of ink: A small number of people are sensitive to the skin. After contact with UV ink, rashes and allergies will occur. They need to be cleaned and rubbed with ointment. If they accidentally splash into the eyes, they should be rinsed with water for the first time.
The smell of ink is pungent: Some people, especially those with rhinitis and sensitive respiratory tract verification, are easily irritated and cause discomfort.
1. The indoor ventilation is smooth. Do not install the UV printer in a closed and airless place.
2. The UV printer operation room can be isolated separately under conditions;
3. If there is no separate isolation condition, you can choose to wear a mask for filtering;
4. technicians should exercise more daily, eat more fruits, pay attention to diet, etc. to improve the body's immunity;
Whether it is the operator or the user, there is no need to worry too much about UV ink. This is within the acceptable range of the human body, and there are very few uncomfortable cases. If it is a female and is pregnant, Dongge advises not to operate the equipment anymore.
A small number of users asked if UV ink could cause cancer. This is a bit too worried. It is not stupid to pick up a bottle to drink ink. The smell is usually similar to the smell of gasoline and diesel when we drive. There is no problem in the workshop.
