UV print visual effects
The visual effects of UV printing have three-dimensional effects such as flat ordinary color printing, 3d, 4d, and 5d. Among them, ordinary color printing is also divided into two-color, four-color, six-color, eight-color, eleven-color, and so on. The more spot color UV inks are used, the more delicate the pattern display.
The factors that affect the visual effect of UV printing are:
1. Nozzle physical accuracy
Refers to the number of ink droplets in the nozzle. The smaller the value, the higher the accuracy and the more delicate the printed lines; For long-range outdoor viewing, a large-aperture nozzle is sufficient; for indoor close-up, a small-aperture nozzle is sufficient.
2.UV flatbed printer physical accuracy
It refers to the physical error between the core components such as the screw, the trolley, the motor, and the platform. The smaller this value is, the more the pattern printing accuracy can be guaranteed. When choosing a device, users should check the brand of the component and understand its process and performance indicators.
Pixels of the pattern
The format of pictures printed by UV flatbed printers generally uses vector graphics. Psd, tiff, ai, etc. are common. The pixel size must be greater than 300dpi. The higher the value, the better the effect.
4. Adjustment of color curve
The color curve used in different application scenarios is different, especially in the advertising industry, the impact of color difference is relatively large. This depends on the curve used by the UV flatbed printer and the adjustment by the technician;
5.Print software settings
For example, select a few passes to print. The larger the value, the better the effect. Feathering enables the value, the amount of white ink printing, the embossing parameter settings, and so on.

Some 5d and 6d effects on the market require the material itself to be multi-faceted, so it looks like a 3d effect from multiple angles.
7, color matching
Under normal circumstances, the UV flatbed printer comes standard with 4 colors + 1 white, which can meet 90% of the needs. However, some export or high-end needs require six colors, eight colors, or even eleven colors to achieve. The more colors are used, the richer the layering and delicateness of the pattern.
