Three principles of UV flatbed printer

The principle of uv flatbed printer mainly includes three aspects: printing principle, color principle, and imaging principle. The printing principle affects the printing range, the color principle affects the printing effect, and the imaging principle affects the printing efficiency.

       Printing principle:

UV flatbed printer uses the principle of piezoelectric inkjet printing, which is different from thermal foaming, silk screen, thermal transfer, pad printing and other principles. It controls the ink by the internal voltage of the nozzle and sprays it on the desired print. Material surface. Therefore, there is no need to make plates, films, color registration and other processes before printing.

Because it does not directly contact the material, the ink is printed on the surface of the material in the form of space inkjet, so the printing range of the material is broadened, and it is no longer limited to one material, such as daily glass, ceramic tiles, acrylic, metal, leather Materials can be printed on one machine.

       Color principle:

The basic colors are C (cyan), M (art), Y (yellow), K (black), plus W (white), in addition to LC light cyan, LK light black, LLK light black and Spot color green, silver and other colors, according to the actual material printing pattern needs to match the appropriate color.

The color software used is photoprint, Monte Thai, RIP, etc. These three software functions are similar, and they are edited before the pattern is printed.

Because of the white effect, two functions are realized. One is the embossing effect, which uses white ink to pile up on the surface of the material to form unevenness, and then prints color on the surface. The other is a color pattern printed on a dark material with a white ink underlay.

       Imaging principle:

The imaging is achieved by the chemical reaction between the photosensitive curing agent in the UV ink and the ultraviolet light emitted by the LED lamp to achieve drying, and it is not a traditional heat baking or natural drying. Because the reaction time is short, the pattern can be cured within 3 seconds, which shortens the production time of the finished product.

However, because the UV ink itself is matte, the imaged pattern is dark and not bright enough. In view of this situation, a layer of transparent liquid can be applied on the surface of the pattern in the form of uv varnish (varnish) to achieve the highlight effect.
